Tap into AWS Training and Certification to Help Your Team Innovate on the Cloud

23 May 2022

For many organisations, the impact of innovations achieved with AWS training and certification goes beyond internal teams. They see a ripple effect on their customers, clients and the community.

Yellow New Zealand - whose story began in the 1960s as a printing company - is today a 400+ person team of digital media and marketing experts who are passionate about supporting small- and medium-sized businesses. In 2015, they used public cloud offerings from organisations such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver the benefits and capabilities of cloud technologies with minimal technical, financial, and commercial risk.

But what is the AWS Culture of Innovation?

When illustrating it for the public sector, the AWS Worldwide Public Sector Digital Innovation Team shared that AWS innovation consists of four pillars: culture, mechanisms, architecture and organisation. Having a strong leadership team and a thorough understanding of the company values will guide decision making. Setting up and constantly iterating mechanisms and processes are critical in addressing recurring business challenges. It is also important for public and private sector organisations to build a technical structure that supports rapid growth. Organisations should also encourage small teams- independent or within bigger departments - to experiment early and often.

Global and local events have no doubt prompted organisations to explore cloud computing to drive innovation. If you are keen to get cloud certifications for yourself or your team, you can look at the types of projects you want to implement as well as the most sought-after certifications.

The series is aimed at supporting organisations with innovation in tandem with data protection. Included in last month's release is a series on the basics of AWS cloud operations management to help organisations modernise and migrate applications.
